Jan 18 - Melbourne
Thousand steps, here we come! Aunty Jeannie and I are excited about it. We convinced ah yee to hike the trail to the top with us. What a good sport! We took our time going up so we could all catch our breath. But I didn't think we were going that slow that we were lapped, multiple times I might add, by some over-zealous people working out on the trail.
When we got back to the car, we saw that ah yee got a parking ticket which is really stupid. There's such limited parking that people park on the side of the roads and I mean people-were-parking-on-the-side-of-the-roads. The stretch of cars is unbelievable. Melbourne really needs to get their act together. You want people to come out and enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise, you need to figure out where people are going to have to park. It's not like it's accessible by public transport. |

Jan 19 - Melbourne
Ah yee dropped me off at the train station in Melbourne and I caught my train to Laverton where Yanyi picked me up. It was great to see Yanyi and her family again. Her mother was in town as well. It was Joshua's birthday so we had hot pot and homemade birthday cake at home for dinner. Yummy! Jason and Yanyi dropped me off at the hotel afterwards. I played some jackpot then it was up to the room to pack. |
